My Dream Guitar Center Rig

While this is not all boutique, This is what Guitar center, a "one-stop-shop" would afford me. Obviously given the opportunity to pick and choose there would be some substitutions such as a Crook Custom Tele and a McPherson Acoustic, and maybe Divided by 13 amp and head. Ok So maybe this isnt the dream but close....

To Love God or Sin... That is the Choice

Do you love God more than you love sin? While the obvious answer for most Christians would be yes, of course, it points out the distinction of metal fortitude that it takes to overcome the things others would tell you are more important in life.

For quite some time, there have been personal struggles that I could not seem to overcome. One day, don’t know where I was, or what I was doing, or what I was getting ready to do, but I realized that every time I sin, the base decision I was making was the love of something over my love for God.

Its not easy hurt a loved one. Guilt usually follows. My sin life was not that way. Some may say that I had not been converted… Whatever. My real problem was that I loved my sin more than I loved my savior.
When I feel myself about to make a decision contrary to the mandates of my Savior, I ask myself, what do I love more, my Sin or my God?

Choose this day whom you will serve, your Sin or your God?

Serious Bloggers...

While I am not a consistent blogger, one
thing that I notice more often than not, there are two distinct forms of
blogging that have emerged. The first type try to pass wisdom through serious
and formal writing and never really show personality. It is as if they are
writing a published news column or an article for a peer-reviewed journal.

Then there are those who tell you what is
going on in life regardless of the importance of the content. These bloggers
find things in life that intrigue them and assume, by your subscription to
their blog, that you are interested in them, their life, or something about
their life to which you will not place judgment upon the randomness that they
share.

Point is, I like both. I like those who
can academically share something worth value, and I also like to know what is
going on in their life or organization. Point is, be dynamic. Shuffle it up. Contribute
to both sides. If you are sharing enough of your life by blogging, don’t take
yourself so seriously that your readers don’t know who you really are, and
conversely, those who have nothing worth while to write may not have all that
much of a following.

Just
a thought.
